My day to day job involves making the technical decisions throughout the project life cycle with Agile methodology which includes understanding requirement from client, pass on requirements to the team(developers, QA, designers), reviewing the merge requests, helping team solving complex problem(jump into coding if situation requires), forcing best practices and security compliance, releasing and deploying code with minimum downtime. I also introduce new tools(PHPStan, CI/CD, etc.) and procedures(Pull requests, tagging releases, gitflow) that overall increases the quality of outcome from developers.
